As the new Student Union Building at UBC was under construction, there was an initiative to create a wall installation within the old SUB building. Given LVL 4x8 panels, we were tasked with how to use these elements to define space. In this proposal, the intent was the panels should be a welcoming feature wall that invites an ambulatory procession through the space. Additionally, the panels should provide some form of comfort or utility for students waiting for access to proximal rooms.
